Communication Pathway: Journalism
Our Communication pathway is centered on getting students to explore the field of journalism and documentary film making.
Students in this path are able to navigate courses in Speech, Journalism 1/2 with a focus on Documentary Film making in partnership with the Los Angeles Legacy Project. In these courses students learn public speaking skills, learn research, writing and critical thinking skills by covering community based topics. Students learn real on the job training in the area of film.
Technology Pathway: Graphic Art and Technical Training Class
In this pathway students will explore courses that will allow them to earn certification in graphic art on design. Students will learn key computer based arts programs as well as learn about the importance of marketing and imagery to move consumers.
